Bone Up

Do what you love. Know your own bone; gnaw at it, bury it, unearth it, and gnaw it still.

– Henry David Thoreau

Lasting advice from that prominent New England transcendentalist, Msr. Thoreau. I often pondered his words on the long walk over the Rockies, en route to New York.

He is speaking figuratively, of course. Although bones are delicious.
